Service Rates & Pricing

Transparent pricing across all physical exhibition support and specialized digital services. All listed rates include GST.1. Art Support & Operational Services - Labour Rate:
For curation, artwork hanging, setup, lighting adjustments, event hosting, gallery sitting, bump-out, physical logistics, and space maintenance. Michal Plis is a emerging, professional visual artist and wants to offer affordable low rates for labouring support for art community in greater Melbourne.Hourly Rate: $38 / hr (Minimum 2-hour callout, incl. GST)Half-Day Pass (Up to 4 Hours): $140 (incl. GST)Full-Day Pass (7.5 Hours): $250 (incl. GST)2. Opening Event Raw Media Capture - Flat Rate
Choice of on-site photography, videography, or live streaming for up to 3 hours during exhibition openings. Includes direct digital delivery of raw files within 24–48 hours. No editing included (book in "Media Post-Production Add-on Rate" listed under section 4 below).
Flat Rate $240 incl. GST (for up to 3 hours, then at art support labour rate)3. Digital Marketing & IT Support - Professional Rate:

For website setup, digital marketing support, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and online strategy. Michal is qualified experienced IT professional for over 20 years and charges a reasonable rate based on experience.Walk-In IT Rate (Once-Off / Casual): $57 per 30 mins (incl. GST)
* Day cap: $495 (up to 7.5 hrs, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm, incl. GST)Service Agreement IT Rate (12-Month Commitment): $22 per 15 mins(incl. GST)
* Day cap: $429 (up to 7.5 hrs, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm, incl GST)Media Post-Production Add-on Rate: Video reel cutting (Instagram/TikTok), photo culling, and color adjustments are billed at Cyberkite Digital & IT Support rates ($57 per 30 mins walk in rate).Onsite Travel Surcharge: Travel over 30 minutes each way from the Mount Waverley office is calculated at the applicable session rate (in 15 or 30-minute increments).4. Michal Plis / Art Support Services does not cover transit, structural, or casualty insurance for artworks. Engagement of services constitutes agreement that the client or host venue maintains primary insurance coverage and holds Michal Plis harmless for accidental damage, preexisting structural flaws, or fragile media defects. High-Value / Fragile Artworks: A signed physical or digital waiver confirming artwork condition and owner-assumed handling risk is required prior to moving, transporting, or installing high-value or fragile pieces. Refer to Legal Terms & Policies for more details or contact Michal Plis.Right of Refusal & Unforeseen Disruptions: Michal Plis reserves the right to decline, pause, or terminate services due to safety hazards, ethical conflicts, natural events (severe weather, power outages), or external human-caused disruptions (venue lockouts, civil unrest). If a project is terminated on-site due to safety/venue issues or sudden severe disruptions, the minimum callout fee ($76) applies to cover travel and held time. Refer to Legal Terms & Policies for more details or contact Michal Plis.Cancellation Policy:More than 24 Hours Notice: Free cancellation or rescheduling. No fee applied.Less than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time incur a flat $76 fee (equivalent to the 2-hour minimum callout) to cover held time.No-Show / Cancelled Upon Arrival: Full minimum callout ($76) or 50% of the booked pass rate (whichever is greater) will be invoiced.

Michal Plis / Art Support Services acts solely as an independent installation contractor and physical support technician. By booking services, the client acknowledges that artwork transit, unboxing, hanging, and teardown are conducted at the owner's risk, and primary loss or transit insurance remains the sole responsibility of the client or host gallery.Right of Refusal, Safety & Force Majeure:
Michal Plis / Art Support Services reserves the absolute right to decline, suspend, or terminate services for any project, exhibition, artwork, or event at any stage.
* Client & Venue Violations: If a project is terminated on-site due to safety hazards, unlawful content, abusive environments, or ethical violations caused by the client or host venue, minimum callout fees ($76) or 50% of the booked pass rate (whichever is greater) will be invoiced to cover held time and transit.
* Natural Events & External Disruptions: Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform due to Force Majeure, severe weather, natural disasters, power grid failure, or external human-caused disruptions (such as civic blockades, emergency venue evacuations, or protests). If an event is cancelled prior to dispatch, services can be rescheduled free of charge. If services are interrupted or cancelled on-site due to an active natural or external emergency, the minimum callout fee ($76) applies to cover incurred transit and setup costs.
